As a Junior Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and maintenance of our software applications. Brace yourself for an exciting journey of growth and learning in a fast-paced and inventive environment!

Role and Responsibilities

As a Junior Developer, you will be responsible for the following duties (not limit to).

Code Quality and Efficiency

  • Embark on a code quality odyssey through regular code reviews and a dance with coding standards.
  • Track and optimize code efficiency, turning the performance into a well-choreographed masterpiece.
  • Weave your magic with static code analysis tools, spotting and addressing potential issues like a coding wizard.

Feature Development and Delivery

  • Time is of the essence! Conduct a feature symphony, ensuring timely delivery and harmonious enhancements.
  • Join forces with cross-functional teams, interpreting their language of requirements, and delivering an accurate implementation encore.
  • Be the vigilant sprint maestro, reporting progress with a drumroll and spotlighting any roadblocks stealing the show.

Bug Resolution and Quality Assurance

  • Be the bug whisperer, identifying, prioritizing, and resolving software bugs with the finesse of a coding detective.
  • Tango with Quality Assurance (QA) to address reported issues, ensuring a smooth release – no bugs invited!
  • Keep the bug density low in our production kingdom, maintaining a software utopia.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Evaluate communication within the development realm and across other departments, ensuring it's smoother than a well-oiled machine.
  • Monitor collaboration tools with the enthusiasm of a game show contestant, always ready for timely responses and information-sharing showdowns.
  • Foster a team vibe that's more rock concert than boardroom, championing effective communication and knowledge-sharing guitar solos.

Technology Research and Innovation

  • Stay on the tech edge, contributing to the innovation orchestra with your insights on the latest technologies.
  • Share your tech discoveries like a digital show-and-tell, making each insight a mini tech-fiesta.
  • Throw your ideas into the innovation cauldron, brewing up features and improvements that become the next big thing.
  • Participate in tech-related training and showcase your acquired skills like a maestro leading a symphony.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of programming languages, software development methodologies, and version control systems.
  • System design experience is like an extra life in the game.

Attributes

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail – you're the Sherlock of the codebase.
  • Ability to harmonize in a team environment – your code plays well with others.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies – you thrive on challenges.
  • Be coachable – it's like having a cheat code for high-performance in our ever-evolving realm.
