In this role, you will work closely with the implementation team to carry out ERP solutions implementations for a niche market and provide support to existing clients, with the key focus being customizing and developing reports, along with integrations and ERP customizations. You will be accountable for delivering set solution targets, ensuring that configured solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to specified requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

As the ERP Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for the following duties (not limit to).

Solution Implementation

• Understanding client business processes and requirements, designing, extending, intergrate and customise solutions to meet those requirements.
• Working with solution consultants to deliver the client requirements. Customise to meet client requirements.
• Documentation of extension, code and the support thereof (training and support of extensions)
• Customising and developing reports to meet client needs.
• Building and maintaining code that facilitates communication between systems.
• Extending existing functions, manipulating calculations, and validations using Java.

Solution Support

• Attend to support tickets promptly and efficiently. This includes addressing and resolving issues in a timely manner while also ensuring time spent on support is recovered.

General Administration

• Effective time management through updated calendars, timely submission of time and expense sheets for compliance, and maintaining productivity by focusing on productive activities and promptly escalating any work shortages.

Product Knowledge and Skills

• Actively upskill product knowledge by attending training sessions, testing new functionality, and engaging in online communities. Continuously develop core competencies, including power skills

Utilization Target

• Achieving billable hours targets by focusing on delivering and closing billable work, actively seeking opportunities, and promptly escalating any challenges or constraints.

Requirements

• Completed 3-year National Diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or similar preferred.
• 2-3 years’ experience in an ERP custom development role or similar ERP systems.
• Experience in report development and integrations.
• Experience working with external clients.
